TXPCA Donations For COVID-19 Preparedness and Response
The global outbreak of COVID-19 has been rapidly evolving in the past few days. During this difficult time, as part of the Pearland community, the Pearland Chinese Association (TXPCA) has decided to donate money and supplies to help alleviate the shortage and fight the spread of the disease. Meanwhile, the Pearland Chinese Association, in partnership with the Alliance of Youth Leaders in the United States (AYLUS) Pearland Branch and Hua Xia Chinese School Pearland Campus, would like to encourage all community members to contribute to this effort …
Events canceled: 2020 Pearland Lunar New Year Cultural Festival and Gala
We are sorry that 2020 Pearland Lunar New Year Cultural Festival and Gala scheduled on 1/25/2020 are canceled due to public health concern about a new coronavirus outbreak in China. According to Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the immediate health risk from coronavirus to general American public is considered low at this time. However, we decide to cancel this event to ensure the safety of our community. We will continue to have this type of cultural festival and gala next year and hope that you will join us in future.
