October 4th. Just after the Mid-Autumn Festival, the Chinese Association of Pearland and the Huaxia Chinese School in Pearland began to prepare the next lecture. The topic of the lecture is school education, one of the most important issues concerning Chinese parents. All panel members of this lecture are from Pearland. Some of their children are still in high school, others are in collage or have already graduated from college. They not only have a lot to say about successful parenting experience, but also have a deep understanding of the local school district and community. Sign up was quick to fill. Although all the children of our panel members are outstanding academically, the lecture was not about how to get higher grades in school, but rather about how to facilitate a true character in their future lives.
Liu Xin, President of Pearland Chinese Association, calls on parents to participate more in community activities, strengthen the cohesion among each other, and set a good example for children.
